Hydraulic hose blown

I am just getting the griff back on the road after a 7 month layoff.

Unfortunatly put the steering in full lock and the hose that goes down to the steering rack from the hydraulic pump blew off at the pump end.

Would any body happen to know where i could obtain a replacement or the specification for the hose. (1995 Giff 500 HC )

Go to your local hydraulic digger repair shop! It'll cost £5 or so.

Do a search for my thread on the same thing from a couple of months ago for the specs on the hose.

Last time something like this happened to me I dropped into my local back street mechanic - he had a local contact who took the old pipe away and fabricated a new one from race spec (whatever that means) pipe - fitted fine , cost me £10 and that included having the garage fit it to save me getting dirty hands ;-)
