I finally got to drive the Maybach 57S, its a pretty cool car. The torque was massive at 738lb-ft but the car weighs 3 tons. It still took off like crazy, got it up to 120mph real quick. It's the only one in the US right now, according to the dealer. In terms of luxury it was unbelievable, it had the most advanced parking assist system that i've seen. There is a grid on the screen that helps you backup into the parking spot. The price was about $370k but imo well worth it. Oh, at night the lights make an M pattern n the ground and the insignia tilts back at 130mph so it doesn't make too much noise.

And that's enough reason not to buy one

Lights make an M?
Insignia tilts back at 130?

That is SO cool.

SC has two of the 57s ?, not the older, slower, common or garden Maybach ? He must have far too much money.

This is a car to be driven in and not to drive. I think its also pointless remember this is extended version of the S-Class with bits and bobs. Maybach should have redesigned this car to make it more original to the S-Class. The two tone colour no way ........
