Very nice BigNige, one of those would look ace in my garage.

I have an import 1100 Yam Dragstar, love it to death, straight through pipes, nice cruiser, infact so nice when I bought it I ended up at JohnOGroats, not bad since I live in Surrey

Off to Mugello Moto GP. Mates on his 916SPS so I'll have to take the GS12 and a bag load of bits for him

Racing Suzuki 1000 K5 in Powerbikes Clas with Derby Phoenix (Sponsorship always welcome )

Annoying traffic on Suzuki 1000 K3 with Girlfriend clinging on the back (2 up wheelies are big and they are clever )

We could arrange a track day for the sports bike riders on here later on in the year, anyone interested?

Will be going to Le Mans for French MotoGP then hopefully to Italy for some 'touring'. Touring last year post Le Mans was 6 days and 2100 miles around France on an 04 R1 and a K5 Gixxer that we picked up the day we got the Ferry. Had to get the first service in South of France!

Looking for a cheap 98-2000 R1 if anyone knows where there is one. Dont care the history, as long its mechanically ok and the frame&forks are straight.

Will be definitely be keen for a track day. Doing Donnington too this year and absolutely 100% doing WSBs at Brands for the boys Troy!!

PB

Two-up wheelies - big AND clever.

Donny is me fave track day track, especially when the Melbourne loop isn't used.
I think the track flows so much better without it.

Here's a pic of me on my Harley doing a trackday

Stu, Ive dealt with Neil before (He was the performance techniques guy wasn't he) Helped me set up my R1 when I first started racing 2 years ago. You wont see me at his MRO Powerbike meetings, bit above my current level that But hopefully catch you at track days etc

Nige, Cool pic. Have never seen a Harley at a track day, you look as if having fun. You must have been scraping the bike at times?.

Is that Mallory? looks like Gerards......?

Yeah, wore out the footpegs...but that's not hard on any Harley tbh.

It is Gerrards, you have a keen eye mate.

You seen the alterations they are puting in at Mallory to make it 'safer'?. A bloody chicane half way round Gerards!!!. Looks even tighter than Edwina's so I am really looking forward to more first corner pile ups as racing starts. NOT

What times you get round Mallory on a Harley?. I have never ridden a bike anything like that but can't even start to imagine what it feels like on a track.

Not sure of times tbh but I do know that I wasn't the slowest out there... and I was in the intermediates!

To ride is...interesting.
Everyone could hear me all round the entire track!

...power isn't everything but, well, let's just say it was never going to highside out of the bus stop.

Need road legal Malc (brekky run season starts soon!). Although depending on the price I might look at track only - its better for my health.
On Harleys on track days, I did a track day at Barbagallo Raceway in Perth a few years ago. There was a guy on a Harley V-Rod. It conrenered amazingly well and my 117hp Fireblade only just stayed with it down the straight!! I was seriously impressed by it.
