Got two new B'stones on the back, done about 3K miles on them and now there's a fekking nail in one of em, giving me a slow puncture.
Have I got to get a) a pair of new tyres again, b) One new tyre or c) can this tyre be repaired?

C= the tire can be repaired , they shoot/glue a piece of rubber in it, that will do mostly...

Yeah? That IS good. I'll take it in tomorrow then. I noticed the tyre pressures were way out, and it looked slightly flat, although the tyre walls are pretty stiff so it didn't seem THAT much different. Washed it today, heard a faint 'hissing', felt around and saw the bloody nail (a smallish one) in the middle of the tyre.
Ta for making me feel better!

C: Depending where the nail is. If it is in the tread face they should be able to repair it, if it is on the edge or sidewall they probably won't touch it.

Yeah I had one in my 048 a few weeks back. The plugs they use have to meet the specific requirements of the tyre. No worries.

It's not on the sidewall, it's about 1/3 in on the face. I was pretty pissed off having just put 2 new fronts on as well. Cheers guys.

If it is where you say it is you'll have no probs. I had one last year in an Advan with about 3 months wear and the guys at the local tyre place fixed it for a 4-pack of Stella

Protyre in Fareham did it first thing for 15 squids.
