Cold Weather, T-shirts 'n Shorts?

Currently 3 deg C in Manchester, with wind-chill making it a lot colder.....but today I've seen one person walking around in shorts and another riding a bike in a T-shirt!

-are these people derranged or super-human?

Up here in Geordie land we've been seeing -25 plus on the fells (wind chill). They couldn't give an exact reading as it had gone off the bottom of their measuring thingy. However this has not detered the local female wildlife and they can still be observed queing for the pubs in nothing more than nipple tassles and a large belt

The short answer - as quickly as possible. You tend to lose sensation in your fingers after a while & invariably end up grabbing the wrong "bit" (& peeing down your leg) anyway.

I love that about Newcastle - when I first started going out with my (now) wife, who's a Geordie, we were walking through the snow towards a Metro station & towards us came two fit young lasses that were wearing what I can only describe as negligés & high-heels. That's it. Nothing else. No underwear, no nothing.
My wife had to pick up my eyeballs

There's nowt wrong with shorts at this time of year - just so long as you're in a little sportscar with an over-enthusiastic heater!

I couldn't drive my old Exxy any distance without wearing shorts - it was like going for a walk across the Sahara while wearing a parker jacket!

Besides there's not much funnier than watching people turning blue with cold just at the sight of someone else walking around in shorts like it was the height of summer.

Got a mate who insists on doing 2 hour on his bike in nothing more then a t shirt and shorts, I think his a tw@ but his choice,

personaly I wouldn't wear shorts what ever the temperature (crap legs)
