I guess this probably has been posted up before somewhere in the past, but is there a definitive workshop manual or TIS discs for these cars?

There's quite a few things I'd like to check up on plus read up about removal of interior trim etc without breaking it due to incorrect technique. You know, all the stuff Haynes manuals were good for.

Any pointers towards publishers or online resources would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Yellow,

You may be interested in this posting on the US forum - www.ls2gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8498

Scroll down to the posting by Batboy 03-04-2005 it links to various interior removal bits - inc door panels, rear seats and head unit etc. I found its over Christmas/New Year time when I was still researching the Monaro.

Cheers
Steven

I also noticed these - US General Motors service DVDs - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GM-eSi-TECHLINE-96-05

I am quite tempted to buy one.

Thanks

Ok, done some more digging, it appears to cover the Commodore, HSV, Pontiac GTO & Monaro Variants

This appears to be the nearest covering upto 2004 our 04 VY year. I guess it would be handy up to a point for us VZ owners with regards to trim and some engine stuff.

There is a Service CD from Holden, but I think it costs upwards of $200.
