Started my chim up on sat morning and left him running on the drive to warm up. Went back out a few minutes later only to find that the door had closed and the central locking had locked the doors! Thinking that I'd simply be able to grab the other set of keys and open him up - oh no, not that simple, that didn't work! My only option was to use the 'secret' method of entry and what a right kerfuffle that is! Just a word of warning to you other guys to make sure that the door can't close shut!
PS - are there any Surrey TVRCC'ers on here? I meant to pop down to Cobham to meet you guys the other day but didn't make it in the end. Let me know who you are, and I'll try and be there for next time.

You were lucky! Leaving your car running on the drive leads to unauthorised drive aways!

Not in leafey Surrey where we have zero crime rate. Point taken though, perhaps not one I should mention to the insurance company. I promise I won't do it again!

Wouldn't worry about unauthorised drive aways - would be more worried about irate neighbours fed up with their windows rattling

The 2 flats above mine closed their windows yesterday when I fired up. Obviously no taste
