Masked gunmen in Gaza have briefly stormed the local office of the EU.

They demanded an apology from Denmark and Norway over the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad that have offended Muslims.

Does it strike anyone as slightly ironic that they are protesting Mohammed being depicted as a terrorist by basically doing a terrorist act themselves to draw attention

"One of the gunmen said citizens of both countries should not enter Gaza until the apology is made."

Oh that'll teach them then, hardly a top 'tourist destination' or must go 'business location' is it.

There's something rather python-esque about them IMO.

It's about time Muslims stopped getting so uppity about their precious religion - it's nothing but a damn nuisance.

'I'm offended'

Tough shit mate, deal with it. I feel offended when I land in Heathrow and it's like a back-street of Cairo, but nobody cares about that.

I predict big problems here spoke with a mate in Copenhagen and the national sence of outrage at this is massive , the Danes really love and respect their national flag and are VERY pissed off about their flag being burnt

It's also ironic that if I responded like with like, I'd get banned from PH and my name (deservedly) besmirched for ever. Your post hoever gets a good ol' laugh. This has to be the most tasteless post I have ever seen.

We (the west) are partly to blame for the creation of such entities in the first place. Apart from going postal on them, there is little we can do but to handle them with kid gloves.

responded like with like? so you would alter a Monty Python quote to become relevant to posts in the thread, then add a picture as a punchline? Ah yes, that would get you banned immediately I think you had your wires crossed somewhere between the UK and South Africa....
