Service loan car

Just put my coupe into meridiens new service centre and instead of the usual grand cherokee loner - they now use Alfa's......I wonder why...!

Got an Alfa GT 1.9D. Cool looking thing, geat leather seats and good torque but noisey off the line.

It also tramlines and torque steers at bit - must be FWD!

Still fun and nice to look at, bit like the service receptionist

mine goes into lancaster tomorrow for a few days (first time since I've had it), was wondering what they might loan me (bear in mind they deal with Ferrari, Maserati and Bentley!!) - what do they offer - Audi A4... hmmm, maybe not.. Nothing against them, nice car - had one for a few years, just didn't need a car for the next few days, so couldn't be bothered with the insurance etc etc..

Regarding Alfas, wifey had a very quick 156 which torque-steered loads and loads, good fun to hustle though... the spoiler on the back rivalled an evo, no wonder she nicknamed it Moby...!!

By the way - one of my alloys has started to 'craze' around the rim - the guy who cleans my car pointed it out - I've not seen that before... that (along with a few niggles) is why its going in....
