Funny story here .....
Wonder over to the MG stand at the Motorshow and reach the new beastie...its on one of those twirly table tops and as it spins in front of me I just had to laugh, quite heartedly
Then turn to friends who are also smiling and chuckling and make a comment along the lines of "its been bolted together with bits from Halfords and Max Power !", more chuckling.... I then turn around to see what else there is and notice the guys stood to my left. Very close to my shoulder. He had a name badge, and the descrption underneath said "Marketing Director" or some such desrciption.
He heard everything we said about their creation .... he was not impressed !!
I walked off feeling guilty for all of .... oohh .... 0.1 of a nanosecond (sp) and went and sat in a Hyundai for the amusement factor !

Following the article in the "Sunday Times Business Section",
let's just hope that MG stay in business long enough to make the car!
Anyhow, with the unenviable reputation that the Leyland (MG) dealers have
, it is hard to imagine them having a line of punters wanting to part with 50K for IMO a go faster, pimp mobile
I still can't quite come to terms with the front of the TUSCAN, but it is positively attractive compared with the pictures I have seen of the MG.
The bloke who designed it supposedly also designed the McL F1
...I guess we all occassionally have a bad day!
As for the MG Marketing guy
(looks like our Tony!) he should have listened before they built the prototypes!
