Stupid Messenger Beta question...

Got this new toy a few weeks back, but usually when trying to sign in it refuses because of a proxy server error, I try and 'repair' this and it says explorer is set to offline... err not its not because here I am using the internet just fine thankyou.
But just now it worked fine! Any ideas whats going on or shall I just try and get out and actually speak to peopleface to face more?

Could be a firewall or something blocking it..?

Otherwise I would assume it is due to it still being in Beta, which means it's not 100% fully working up to yet... although I haven't had that problem up to yet?
