As the end of another year rapidly approaches, I thought it would be interesting and potentially humerous to try and remember what happened to some of the "high profile" MPs who dissappeared and to speculate as to what they do now...
A few examples to get you started: -
Nigel Lawson, former fat Chancellor who got the "fat-cat" Eurojob and then got thin and wrote a book about it. His other claim to fame is as Nigella's dad!
Jailbird Jeffrey Archer, former disgraced Chairman of the Tory Party, highly successful author multi-millionairre and alledged "playboy". Set to make loads more money from writing about his prison experiences
Now what ever happened to Stephen Byers?
Who was the rich Tory MP who owned a castle, drove a car like Mr Toad and alledgedly did a mother and daughter threesome
(sounds like an interesting bloke) 
...think his name was Clark? How did he make his money?
What did John "Two Jags" Prescott do after his brief boxing career
Any suggestions?
What happened to the MP who got caught having a sg with the Spanish women on the floor...did he become "Minister for Fun"? 
Has Keith Vaz disappeared?
What happens to former New Labour "Spin Doctors"?
Disgraced former Tory MP Neil Hamilton was recently seen on TV decorating a pair of chocolate breasts...this is so unlikely it must be true!

Ok - there's Ron Davies - who was the first of the New Labour cheats and liars to realise being in Government is not the same as being in Opposition - caught doing something odd on Clapham Common - since then his presence in Westminster doing his job as an MP has been, shall we say, erring towards the negligible...
Norman Lamont, now Lord Lamont of Negative-Equity is seen wandering the streets of Westminster between lunch and business meetings as a non-exec director of dodgy businesses such as split capital investment funds that lose money almost as fast as the Dome did.
Hey what about the Dome - it has all the qualifications to be an honorary MP - useless, full of rubbish, extremely expensive and can't easily be gotten rid of.. and it sits next to the River Thames.
Unfortunately Labour MPs, once they've resigned or been sacked get at least one chance to make a comeback under the now world-famous Blair Judgement of Character Rehabilitation Scheme - witness Mandelson, that caravan-towing haridan Beckett was given the boot 'cos she was useless and now she's back with her mindless drivel, and then there's Harriet Harman - now Soliciting General.

Nicholas Ridley - resigned after slagging off the Germans - Ridley was a really nice guy - not at all like his public persona
Tim Yeo - Fathered a kid by his mistress but now back in shadow cabinet
Paddy pantsdown - over the side for years and popularity soared when caught
Robin Cook - Over the side with (and now married to) the woman with the worst eyesight in the world
Jeremy Thorpe - Accused of trying to have his ex boyfriend murdered
Edwina Curry - various crimes against humanity
Theresa Gorman - had tacky changes made to her home without getting [planning permission)
John Redwood - laughable attempt to sing in welsh!!
Peter Brooke - was far too polite to Irish chat show host and got persuaded to sing a song (My Darling Clementine) on the evening of an IRA massacre - resigned (another nice guy this one)

Cecil Parkinson - fathered kid by his secretary
John Gummer - fed burger to his young daughter during BSE crisis
