Hands up if you have cleaned your car yet?

Can't stop thinking about how dirty my car is in the garage but won't have time to clean it till Sat/Sun.

Has anyone actually managed to clean theirs since Sundays NOC day?


I am going to give her a full valet, even clean the engine with my so far untouched bottle of Autoglym engine cleaner.


How do people rate these things, or the ones you put into your own drill? Any good or is elbow grease better?

IMHO and practice,
stear clear of the drill, your illustrated implement using a clean mop-head is far better than elbow grease and has given me near perfection.

Haven't touched it since sunday. Not sure I want to see how many chips I have on the bonnet from all those bloody gritters on the M1

Believe it or not mine still looks like it went on an artic expedition - it's languishing in the garage wondering how it upset me! There's enough salt on it for a bag of chips for each of the Nobility!

Just ran a finger over my door (had to get a screwdriver out the garage) and as you say, said finger was white with salt!!


How should one wash it off the inderside? Won't spraying a hose underneath cause other water associated issues?

Greg, obviously don't use full-force spray - set to low/medium and use a medium bristle brush in your other hand to wash away the crud at the same time!
