I know what you mean. Every week there's another report relating to the control freakery of this government. This week it's satellite-controlled speed limiters. Richard Hammond in his column has said this sort of thing will make him seriously to consider moving elsewhere and I'm sure most other people will think the same.

It's just a sensationalist rag for the hard of thinking... there isn't enough bike news each week to fill it so they massively over blow everything even vaguely associated with bikes and just make stuff up. Don't read it.

yeah i know i all ready am......its all that above BS and the 6 instances in this weeks paper of "killer driver let off" "OAP let off because lets face it shes not got long left so why upset her because she just nearly killed a "biker"" "156mph while on mobile driver let off" etc etc........

I too read MCN but you really have got to take it with a pinch of salt - everything has such an obvious twist to make it newsworthy, it's just ridiculous.

Yes, they do get a bit hysterical.

They are also pretty juvenille in some of their bike test comments. Today, they critisized Kawasaki with their ZX10 for having an "old fashioned" style under-seat exhaust. FFS, so what!

Sorry but MCN doesn't even rate litter tray use. As for Hammond wasn't he the moron who advocated suing trackday organisers when it was your own fault you fell off! He should stick to standing in for sick members of the seven dwarfes.
