great pictures, those guinness boys do great work.
how did you get into that sort of work?
I play rugby at a club where we just seem to have lots of people "in the business", I done loads of tv stuff ( did some last night for the six nations ) and the bbc advert for the six nations is also got my mate init as well.
Just one of those things, this came about as the second team captains wifes team mate ( she plays rugby ) was in charge of the casting. She asked us if we would donate 1/4 of our wages to breast cancer fund and we said yes so we got the job. We were paid £200 a day for a couple of day and treated like stars.

I would have had the bottom one down as computer generated... You mean people still do that stuff for real?
Yes and no, the shot was done during the day in richmond, background is added. The actual lifting of the guy didn't happen up on the platform ( bloody scary enough as it was ). The built a tiered platform ( a bit like a wedding cake ) and got us lifters to stand at the top of it, 30ft up ) then the extras were placed around us to get there hands in the right positions, then they took the shots, once that was done we actually lifted the guy infront of a black screen outside and they just popped that image in.
So no we didn't actually do that shot in one go, but we were 30ft in the air balancing on a small platform being soaked with a rain machine, freezing our nuts off for half a hour whilst the camera man got the shot "just right", prat.
Great fun though and we nick loads of kit.
