IE screen resolution

I'm using IE 6.0.2900 sp2 on a Dell Latitude D610. The screen resolution is fine when I'm using normally or browsing with Firefox.

If I browse in IE the resolution is frankly terrible (the smiley looks like he has a gap in his teeth!!).

Anyone got any ideas if this can be tweaked??

Check:

View->Text Size

And also check the accessability settings on the bottom right of the Internet Otions, General tab.
