Couldn't help but notice - same shots, same photographer. Naughty? Or just unusual? Like the cover shot used for both articles.

Both mags are part of Haymarket, so I presume it's the publisher being economical rather than a photographer being sly.

Sure it wasn't our Matt with a new pseudonym? (He's a busy boy these days!)

BTW... Is it just me or is the 997tt an ugly bug? (I'm not biased having just sold the 996, honest)

The photog listed in the evo article is not a usual evo contributor. Maybe he was supplied by porsche?

Its not uncommon for mags to use the same shoot. Anton Watts shoot at the Mille Miglia was used by just about everyone.

Personally I thought that Car's lead image was better, i think there is some Carteresque digital blending going on there. That being said, I noticed that the aerial swaps sides on the car through the shoot. oops.

Matt

ps. Hope everyone is well etc.

Interesting as I'd say they are all better shots than the ones they used!

Still the world would be a boring place if we all agreed.

I was sure they would use the corner tracking shot... very evoesque IMO.

I think EVO wanted to make it look like a big tub of lard, which they IMHO successfully achieved.

It seems EVO have taken great pleasure in slating everything they test lately.
