Watching the news earlier i saw a report on the promotion of a new expensive watch, the Co promoting the watch are using Goodwood as the launch site and have enlisted a Spitfire and other second world war aircraft to give the news media free flights.

I would imagine if you are down that way you would be rewarded with a good arial spectacle, ime sure the Spitfire flew over Hampshire Yesterday but i caught it at the last minute, ime sure thats what i heard as it dissapeared over the trees in the distance, anyone down that way seen anything?

Think I saw on the local news this morning that it's the 70th anniversary of the Spitfire's first flight so they're having a bash at Goodwood airfield, with R. J. Mitchells' son in attendance as well as a load of period aircraft.

70 years......and still the first on the list that every pilot worth his salt would give his right knacker to fly.
