Had to take the car out today early, then got back home and it stood on the drive all day. Turned it over tonight and got the following warnings.

Warning Water Temperature 202C!
Warning Oil Temperatire 202C!

So I smiled to myself, cleared the errors and checked out the temperatures.

Water temperature -2
Oil Temperature -2
Air temperatire -2 (this one I can believe!)

From 202 to -2 to 5 seconds..!!

Yep. I've been getting exactly the same in the mornings! The computer obviously doesn't like the cold!!

Yes been getting the same errors myself. Seems there are quite a few schoolboy errors in the software that operates the display. Quite entertaining really!

I do seem to have a fault on my air temperature sensor though and wondered if anyone else had experienced the same. Its fine at first but not sure if its after the engines warmed up or I've reached a reasonable speed (>50) that it starts playing up. Its almost like there is a loose connection or something. It starts to give spurious readings of impossible values. It definitely gets worse with increased speed. Any ideas?

Just another question. Is it possible to upgrade the software to a more recent version? Is there any advantages to this, or not worth bothering?

They should do this at the service if a new release is available.

I regularly get Air con failed, even though it's never on!?!
Plus the usual low Oil Pressure before the engines fired up properly.

Mines off to have a couple of niggles ironed out on Monday so will ask about software update then. BTW mine is still on 0.0

I was getting the same warnings "Oil Temp 202c" and "Water temp 202c" for the last couple of mornings but then this morning it did the same and the digital display totally froze just reading 5mph and the time wouldn't change etc. When I got out of the car the display stayed on.

Spoke to the dealer and the ECU needed unplugging and reconnecting to reset it. Was a bit of a nightmare as the heater wouldn't work either until it had been reset. Not nice in this weather.

The software is c@rp, Ive told you all this several times. A QDOS answer is probably that a buffer has filled up and an over run error occured which results in some spurious reading, closely followed by either a software error checking code automatic clear up/software reset or the user doing the whole dbl button manual reset.

That's just off the top of my head though.

I suspect the 202C warnings are really trying to say -2, but the software can't cope with it.
