Internship

Hi all,
I am currently half way through studying for an Ma in Marketing with a view to working somewhere in the motoring industry.
What is the best way to get an internship with a company involved in the motoring industry?
Begging letters? Phone calls to every HR department? Offer to work for free?

In deed anyone on here want to give me a job in their Marketing department?

Letters to the HR dept or Marketing manager and also offer to work for free. Most will always cover accomodation.
