What the hell is happening! I can barely see at the moment! It started about 10 minutes ago and has got progressivly worse since. My vision is covered in blurry streaks that keep moving about. It's worst when looking at the computer monitor. Any suggestions at to the cause and what I can do about it?

edit: crap I meant to post this in P£P. Can a mod kindly move it. Thanks

Yeah, sounds like an aura migraine, or sleep deprivation.

Sounds like an occular migraine, I got them for a while. Probably clear up in an hour or so. Don't panic as yet, wait for 968... Then panic They can be very disconcerting and yes, this will be tricky to read.
Edited to add: If your field of vision is decreasing as if in a tunnel then that's migraine type stuff too.

Call a taxi and if you cant get a taxi immediately call an ambulance and go to the nearest eye hospital or hospital in general.

If you have any doubt over the cause get it checked out immediately. If it is a detached retina then your eye sight is at risk the longer you leave it. THe window of repair can be very narrow indedd. Don't mess about on the web!!!

Guys, you're scaring me! Hospital

I thought a migraine is a really bad headache? It's quite difficult to see at the moment and I'm feeling a little nauseous now If it's no better in an hour, I think I might go to the docs

Nauseaus too, it's the onset of a migraine You don't necessarily have to have a headache with a migraine.

Sit tight for the moment.

This can happen through stress. Calm yourself down and relax for an hour. If you're no better (or worse) then seek help.

Good luck, it's a jungle out there.

Don't be a prat.

Get to the local eye hospital now. Get someone else to drive you.

What do the religonutz say?. "If thy right eye offends thee, pluck it out and cast it from thee"

A bit extreme though.

Don't try this at home children. TeamD accepts no liability for self mutilation.
