Hi everyone

My usual mechanic isn't available on 9th April this year for a race I plan to do at Anglesey, North Wales. So I thought 'why not invite someone from PH?'

I have a Rover Metro gti 1.4 16v stockhatch that I use for Rallycross. www.rgt-racing.com for more info.

Would anyone like to come and watch/help with the day's racing? I'd provide bed and breakfast and pay for petrol and entry. You'd stay at my Dad's house (which is very nice) with us and we'd look after you properly.

If something massively goes wrong we'd pack up and go home; it's the minor stuff that I need help with along some moral support. I'd prefer it if you have a little (or alot!) mechanical knowledge/been to some races/helped etc etc but willing volunteers are most welcome. Either reply on here or through PH mail. Am happy to give more details on here/answer any questions.

The championship website that I am going to compete in is; www.rallycrosssuperseries.com

Thanks

I would happily come along to help, and think i would be quite handy, but am 226 miles away from there!

Let me know if you or anyone else for that matter needs any help trackside a bit closer to home.

Cheers,

Mark

Mark,

Thanks for your reply. I actually live inside the M25 (in Hampton, TW12) so have to travel up to Anglesey anyway for the racing but as my Dad is from Anglesey and still lives there it's no big deal in terms of extra costs - we just get fed and watered at his place. It's a cracking house too so we wont be slumming it!

if you still want to come up I'd happily give you a lift, put you up, cover your food and water and beer and generally make the weekend as no-cost to you as possible. In return all I'm after is some help with the Rover metro I have. it's as uncomplicated a machine as you could wish for and in terms of set up there's very little to do. It's mroe a matter of having the support there if anything went pear-shaped during scrutineering and the actual racing itself. The car is going to be set up, serviced and prepped by the college that look after it (automotive Engineering college on Anglesey that sponsor me) before hand.

PM if it's something you'd be interested in. I graduated from University of Warwick in 1995 but don't hold that against me.......!
