Thieving scrote in white peak cap and trainers.
has attempted and failed (again) to prise the badge of my Porsche while parked behind locked gate outside my home. bring me a gun and shovel

I have a friend who used to do that. He stopped after I near enough decked him.



Now seems to be reformed. Doesn't even do it when pissed. I suggest you try the same methodology on the scrote if you can find them.

sounds good, what makes it slightly annoying, is that i have a fairly good idea who it might be, or of which local scrote fammily they hang about with, you know most areas have a sump group but how to prove?

i'm guessing they've done damage to the bodywork? time to debadge then if you have to have work done around that area, so that there's nothing to steal.

or how about one of those alarms that detects people moving near the car? or a PIR detector that lights up your drive?

A colleague at work suffered after some kids tried to prise the badge off his S2 Elise....it cost £500 to repair !!( clamshell off, cracks repaired and resprayed)

When you know for sure who it is you can then dish out justice. You can mention to little scrotikins that he either takes a battering for his deeds or the video go's to the police.

My alarm is a top Clifford jobbie and it has radar proximity sensing that can be adjusted for sensitivity. There are two zones, someone steps into the first and gets an evil chirp, into the second and it goes off in all it's glory with 8 different sirens including one that sounds like a police car. It's the most annoying sound in the world. Which means people can't really ignore it

I just leave my dog wandering loose around the garden at night. 42kg of German Shepherd puts off most scrotes. BTW I do have a beware of the dog sign on the gate.

Moleamol, what is that alarm of yours likely to cost ?

I've got a Clifford on mine it was about £500 3 years ago and is a bit of a pain due to the frequency it transmits on, but apparently the new ones are different.
It is highly entertaining watching people in car parks jump when the thing beeps when they get close, and having them appologise and saying 'I never touched it'
The postman and paperboy hate it, and I imagine the neighbours could live without it, every morning 'BEEP' But in 3 years no ones touched the car

The toad alarms are good, I've heard them highly rated by people that know about these things
The one I've seen with a proximity senser had a very quite warning bleep though, don't know whether the volume can be adjusted though

Do we have any alarm engineer types in the audience tonight?? And whats more OPC Arlingtons want £35+ and thats just the badge never mind the rubber seal and clips. I really want some satisfaction out of this one way or another

Rich, I think the badge should be considerably cheaper than £35. Have you tried contacting Pro-9 (01564 785161)? They are based in Solihull, or Jasmine Porschalink UK on 01282697171?
They do the genuine Porsche bonnet badge kit for £12.
However, check the colour out first, or ask for the "older" style as the new badge looks out of place on a classic 911SC.In fact the colour is different!
