Why waste so much money on a 360M?

I'm glad I didn't take the plunge when there's this alternative which is a virtually identical car for a fraction of the price. As the title says "Superb!".

Personally I think a fake is a fake is a fake. However it's certainly true that there are very different levels of 'fake'. At one end a calibra/406/Mr2 with a plastic bodykit moulded on, at the other amazing 250SWB rebuilds from various original and remanufactured parts to create a new car more or less indistinguishable from the original. (And still cost $$$$s!)

I agree with you Tony. One of my favourite cars of all time is a '73 911 Carrera RS. There are some technically superb cars which are mechanically and visually similar, but based on later vehicles. They just don't do it for me.

However when you see something as classy as the Calibra based 360 replica it does make you think. I bet it out performs the original aswell. Smart.

Errr... perhaps you two should have looked at the link.

Even Stevie Wonder would be hard pushed to call that Calibra a 360!

Well I've bid for it - would be sstupid to let a bargain like that get away from me. AFter all I was going to buy a 550 - this wil be much cheaper to run and all my mates on Ph wil think its the real thing anyway. Even better I can get 3 people in the back - cant do that in any production ferrari can you!

It's not actually claiming to be a 360 replica though is it... it's billed as a "360 LOOK body kit". To be fair the front has a certin 360 cueing to it in the intakes. Clearly the Calibra will never look like a 360
