As the title says.....i am an unromantic neanderthal and have NO idea what she is expecting (and she has made it quite clear she is expecting something)....ideas please.

I thought a box of mingles, a DVD and a quick bunk up would suffice, but I'm getting the impression i should be sliding down ropes dressed in black whilst wearing 'Mandate' aftershave

Bouquet of flowers (the more expensive the better) sent to her at work. She'll feel very special.

They can expect what they like, you will find if you continually disappoint them one of two things will happen:
1. Her expectations will gradually lower to the level even a lazy man could meet.
2. She'll leave you

Either way, problem solved

click the search button

choose pie&piston

and search for 'any thread posted anywhere for the past year'

and what you'll find is a good 50 or so similar threads, containing both the same OXO jokes, AND the same sensible answers!

(sensible answer; make an effort, no matter what it is, just make an effort. cost does not matter)

Write an original poem - and pen it in your own hand (you can of course get someone else to write this as long as it won't be found out),
Single red rose,
Candle lit restaurant (Italian or French).
Taxi to and from restaurant and all things organised (if your really brave - chose/buy her something to wear).
Little gestures such as little love notes hidden where she will find them all day.
One present to give her at the end of the evening (after all that effort she will not expect anything else) - spa day/pamper day that sort of thing, something for her alone.

if you can't be bothered with all that just buy her something with a diamond in it

[vixpy1mode_on]

I'm not sure red hair dye will do the trick.

A whole box? Nothing says I love you like shaking out a handful of dry roasted. :hege:

Diamond something should work wonders.
