Gran Turismo 4 Questions
Discussion
Chaps and chapettes, I play on GT4 from time to time
and was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to get a front wheel drive car to lift a rear wheel into the air so you can see it on the replay (I know I should have a 106 Rallye to do this in for real but I'm afraid I don't).
Oh and why on earth does the Corvette C5 sound like a honda Civic, the S Tpe R sound like a vacuum cleaner and why the hell isn't it possible to oversteer an '05 Mustang?
And where the f
k is Morgan?

Rite,
1. I don't know about this one but i would have thought it would be possible if you choose a suitable car and then set the suspension up correctly.
2. Because the programmers were lazy and were not bothered to make the vett sound correct
3. Does it?? Never drove it but i assume you are correct...probably same case as above
4. It is with the correct tyres (road/economy) and all the driving aids turned off
5. I was working at the Morgan in Reading who ran the blue Aero 8 in British GT's a few years basck and the GT4 team used that car for their data to put the car in the game (took a whole day or so) BUT the buggers never put it in the friggin' game!!! God knows why not???
Hope this answers your Questions/rants
Good Luck with the wheel lifting (I'm gonna give it a try)

Can only offer an answer for one of those but... in order to get closer to oversteer you need to select the N2 (comfort) or N1 (Ecconomy)tyres. These are supposed to represent sports(corsa, pilot sport) and normal (P6000) tyres respectively. These are easier to get Out Of Shape

It is possiable, but also bloody difficult, far more so than it should be.
I've managed to get two shot of it (click to view full size), more luck that anything else, but a very stiff rear does help.

On the sound side of things, the PS2 has always been weak in that area, poor old thing is getting on a bit now.

Right well I tried it yesterday in a car that should have done it (as it does so easily in real life) - the Peugeot 106 Rallye (and the 106 GTi for that matter) but it didn't work
It seems sad but for something that is touted as being the best driving simulator around, it doesn't half get quite a few things wrong.
