GTL How many pitstops?
Discussion
funnily enough i just updated the league thread, one stop for the 76 none for the 65.
Those who are running 76 cars, having run in the old GTR league I can't recommend enough that you PRACTICE YOUR PITSTOPS specifically entry and exit speeds, otherwise stop go penalties shall abound.
Also worth familiarising yourselves with selecting what work you want your pit crew to do, can save precious seconds.

What if I want to race the Mini Cooper, can I get 2 laps head start?
Interesting
would we have to keep to one side on the grid and wave as you went past a couple of times? or just go slow for a lap or so and then boot it as you passed for the 2nd time
I'd like to be sat in your Mini to hear the sound as we all passed you at the same time
would be like riding your bicycle through the Dartford Tunnel
Glad your feelin better and able to join FWD
although disastous for any championship chalenge

What really narks me off is the way that GTL switches OFF the speed limiter once the car comes off the jacks. I seem to get caught speeding soooo many times as I'm exiting because of this
I don't really see the point of the 76 cars having to pitstop - it's not like they're that much quicker, indeed some are slower than the 65 cars! I think it would be better if people just chose the car they felt happy about driving consitantly and make everyone do one pitstop, or none at at all - specially considering the rather awkward way that pitstops in GTL seem to be modelled.
At the longer tracks the more powerful cars need to carry more fuel anyway, so doesn't this even things up a bit anyway?

there is 5 secs between fastest 76 (1.39.9) & fastest 65 (1.44.9), I think this is enough to warrant the pit stop, it will make it very close though, which is a good thing, no?
looking forward to tonight

Bloody hell having decided to switch to 65 and doing consisitent 1.50's I find the fastest 65 is faster than my 76 time
Oh well, I can do 1.50's on half a tank as well as na empty one and Anders is my least fave track so well see
