Anyone taken a Cerb on the Eurotunnel

Considering it as a option for this years lemons. Any problems getting a Cerb on / off?

No problems whatsoever.

Easy peasy: just make sure that you drive onto the lower deck (ask the nice Eurotunnel staff who are loading you).

Yep, piece of cake on the lower level. Don't worry about the 'raris, etc either, just blip the throttle a few times to let them know you're there!

Take the left-hand (or at least it was in 2003) lane where all the lorries and lambos go, no speed bumps and everything is loaded onto the single-deck carriages, so no issues with big ramps.

What are the accoustics like in the train - do they suit a cerb on open pipes I wonder?

As others have stated, no problems at all and the staff always seem to pull me out of the line
to place my Cerbera on the lower level.

I got on the lower deck with no problem, as did a friend's Griff. Getting off was more of a problem as I did need a jump start...long story.

No trouble with clearance though, which I assume is the main worry.

As everyone has said, The train staff are intelligent enough to load us onto the bottom rack only.
Even had a customs guy remind me to watch out fo the speed bump once !

Sadly, the train is quite well damped, but NOTHING can stop an AJP from making some noise!

Actually sitting on the transmition tunnel in the back of the car, but it's a fridge alright !

Hiya! Took my old Cerb on Le Shuttle (or whatever it is called) no problem at all great service and sounds great when you fire it up at the other end!!
But beware speed traps/cameras etc as the "Gendarmes" are really hot on it now!!

I was asked by the customs officer in Boulogne to give it some for his mate, so I let rip with a few revs and some rear-end wobbling when exiting the kiosk

That pic makes me a very happy chappy, since I was wondering how or whether I could get such an item in to the Cerb! Roll on Le Mans!
