Maybe BP Ultimate you can get away with and not notice the difference but the Tesco stuff
lacks the detergents and cleaners that are in Optimax (and Ultimate) so I would stay away from it. The base fuels nearly all come from the same sources but the additives are individual to the petrol companies

In my view I use Tesco, and stick my own additive in, such as redex, every other tank.
Works out cheaper, and you know you are getting an additive!!
