My heater is working so well this last few days I'm asking Santa for a thermostat - mine has to be stuck!

... solar powered battery charger. I tend to only use my car at weekends so it does crank a bit slowly in this cold weather. I'm sure that a trickle charge will make the battery last longer as well. Surely better to exercise them constantly than let them sleep and jolt them awake periodically. Available at keen prices (£14) on eBay- isn't everything these days ???

Have a good mid-winter festival of choice all.

...some octane booster. Just been out open topped for first good run & I don't think the xflows set up for unleaded.
But who cares? The sun was out and the grin was huge. Took Emma-Lou out , my nearly 3 year old little'un and she loved it.
Seasons Greetings!

PS- so it arrived this morning. I wrapped it in cling film and it's now sitting on the top of the windscreen surround (no hood on my car) on a professionally made bracket (two pieces of baling wire). The red LED is glowing so something's happening...

... must have accessory for a jeep type vehicle- a power winch on the front bumper.
The Sunday Times "Driving" section, page 26 has a 1,000w, 12v, 0.85hp electric winch which delivers "2,000lbs of line pull". I suggest you use that carefully in a 1,400lb car. The winch mounts on the chassis or over a 50mm tow ball. They state that rrp is £149.95 but the Offers Direct price is £79.95. You're not supposed to advertise on PH forums so I won't include the phone number. Email me off-list if your newsagent or garage has sold out !!!
Cheers

Over the years I have owned a few cars which had a fair bit of street cred ( Yankee v8's ) , but last Saturday night was the first time a young lady has tried to climb on board whilst sat at the lights!

My 13 year old son was in stitches , when we got home later that night he told his Mum , " I know why Dad wanted the Geep he can pull every time he goes out in it....!"

Last night we went for a pose around town but guess who tagged along this time , Mother and daughter!

My survey concludes there are many Jago fans out there but they all appear to be 18-25 year old females!!!!

If only I was 20 years younger , not married , solvent etc etc....

This is getting more like a "carry on" script with each new posting...........

On a more serious note whats all this about a giggling hippopotamus......?

nearly forgot

Seasons Greetings to all fellow Jago'ers , I have taken on board the tinsel and turkey theme , there is a 14" high plush toy Turkey now cable-tied to my bullbar which will be joined by some red tinsel tomorrow. pics will be posted on yahoo soon , when my neighbour asked why it was there I said it must be festive roadkill.....

All we need now is some elastic for the 4 santa hats my wife bought and we should be all set for a good laugh around town.

When the show season starts next spring you will all recognise me , I am the guy being chased by 2 Gentlemen in white coats , one carrying the keys to the ambulance.....
