Audi Gauge Problem

Petrol gauges still causing Audi grief in the USA

This exact problem happened in my UK supplied TT. The dealer said it was the fuel feeder pipe that connects one side of the tank to the other, and replaced it. I wonder if he checked with Audi, or just ''best guessed'' the cause of the problem...
