How much really is it going to hurt. Don't get me wrong I'm looking forward to running round like a loon andshooting people with paint but I get bruises on my knees if I kneel on the floor, so am I going to wake up Sunday morning looking like a 3 week old banana?

Depends how good you are

Yes, the odd bruise (ie inside of the arm or leg) will really hurt

In short yes, but as long as you don't get shot at very close range like i did it shouldn't hurt

The first time you get hit, it will hurt. After that it will only hurt in an awkward spot.

Dunno, I found I had plenty of bruises but no pain, strangely.

No. An 8 week old I'd imagine.

I did it a few years ago, and after horror stories wore two tracksuits bottoms and the overalls. Just sweated like mad and took some off. It's not that bad, but if you bruse that easily, I'd think about it.

It really hurts if it hits in a sensitive area. I had one hit my bicep and I had a big bruise for a long time.

If it hits you normally it's just like someone punching you in a very small area and after that there is no pain.

Wear think jeans and a jumper underneath the overalls and you'll be fine.

Oh and TOP TIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TAKE GLOVES TO WEAR ON YOUR HANDS.

Once place that will really really fecking hurt and give you a nice big blood blister in getting hit on the hand. Take it from one who learnt the hard way

I didn't bother with gloves when I went, sounds like I was lucky, I can just imagine getting hit on the hands

It can be fun but just beware for the office nerd who will turn up with his own set of gear, his SAS Survival Handbook, camo cream, the works. He'll then proceed to take it all deathly serious and do things like shoot his own team-members if they get in his way.

I'm not going with work, my cousin just turned 13 so there are about 6 adults and 20-odd 12/13 year old lads.

How on earth do you know that? Have you had a fight with Jeremy Beadle?

You're from Newcastle. I've been to Bigg Market in the winter, now if you girls can manage to wear short skirts and not much else at that time of year, you'll be able to handle paintballing.

It's good fun.

I still have a half moon scare on my right hand where I was shot at close range after a daring leap across a barrier. Gun fired, hand exploded in green paint and red blood.
Walked back to the huts to get cleaned up - a group of scouts were waiting to play their first game and a little voice piped up "Excuse me mister does it hurt when you get shot"
Holding up my hand with blood pouring down my arm I replied
"Not at all you barely notice it"

I wouldn't go with teenagers if I were you. A group turned up to our paintballing session and acted like complete tts including shooting one of their own team mates repeatedly at point blank range.
