I have a set of oakley's and was looking at getting another pair but with my Prescription details included as I have read and heard they places can do this. Saves having to wear contacts when wearing my sunnys.

Could anyone give me recommended websites or places than can do this? and are they any good, both the Prescription Oakleys and the companys

My wife wants a pair of Oaklys for the summer and she likes the idea of the Prescription sunglasses rather than the nasy ones you get at the optician

Many thanks again

I think you need to go to an optician that is an Oakley Dealer. IIRC it was pretty expensive.

Yup, my old man bought a pair of RX E-Wires, which cost over £300 IIRC...

I bought similar sun goggles for US$130 and a box of contacts for £30

when i have my eye test they give me a form saying the strenghs of my glasses. I have come across one or two websites that sell Oakleys that can match your prescription. main reason for asking

such as here: www.rubensmenswear.com/pages/photographs/oakley/rx_prescription/frogskins/frames/oakley_rx_xsfives_main.htm

I got some from an Opticians that was an Oakley dealer (expensive though) but after a few months I had a problem with the Iridium coating coming away, I contacted Oakley direct who told me to return the glasses to their RX (for prescription lenses) department they then promptly lost them! Anyway they made me some new ones just from the info on the prescription, which I emailed to them (5 years later they are still fine) so they can do them direct - in fact they told me that only Oakley make the lenses anyway. but not sure if they do them direct out of choice - worth emailing them to find out!

BTW on http://oakley.com/ click on 'find a store', enter 'Prescription Eyewear', 'location' etc and there are plenty of opticians that do them.

Prescription Oakleys are the mutts nuts Had mine about four years with no problems whatsoever. My optician is recommended, but I'm in East Anglia so it would be a bit of a schlep for you Keep hunting, they are worth the effort as it just doesn't look like you're wearing "spectacles".
