Coding a New Alarm Fob

Just received a new fob, but need to code it up to pair it to the alarm system and can't find any information on it.

I know it involves using the current fob to arm and disarm the system a number of times, but how many and what to do to the new fob escapes me!

Can anyone help?

Got the alarm fob from Carl, but didn't want to bother him over the weekend.
