Reversing my car into the driveway this morning which I have done hundreds of times before. God knows how, but I managed to catch the front passenger side wheel arch on a small wall at the side of the driveway. It's dinted the wing and tha paint is flaking off and the front bumper is chipped! Will this be a new wing and bumper job?

The car is only 5 months old aswell...., I know it's only a VW Polo but I am gutted! Looks like a trip to VW to see how much it'll cost to repair <grabs sledge hammer to destroy small wall>

As long as its not major they can probably repair it without replacing bits..

Probably be fairly pricey as painting anything allways is.

Hope you get it sorted out.

I know how you feel. Every time I go to my mate's house you need to put the code in to open the gate. Every time i swing in as close as possible so i don't have to get out the car. Last time I swung in too close. Nice deep series of scratches on my bumper I was gutted. Luckily a bodyshop contact sorted it for 150 notes. Result! Don't worry. These things happen.

If you take it to vw, they will almost certainly want to replace everything with new parts, Personally I would go to a reputable body shop the job will be just as good at a fraction of the price.
