replacement carpet set for 94 griff 500 from coverdale

I am seeing a trimmer on the south coast today ( that i have used before on my cobra),who tells me that some of the replacement carpet sets are miscut and therefore it may be better to have him make the carpets from scratch.
Has anyone bought and fitted a coverdale carpet kit and had any problems?
Coverdale are asking £250 for the carpet kit.
any advise would be gratefully received

The last I heard, about 6 months ago admittedly, coverdale didn't have a template for Griffith carpets. In fact, when I wanted overmats from them I had to make templates for them.
The carpet is nice. Mine were Wilton with heavy duty rubber back (can't find the invoice though so my apologies, this is all I have).
They will send you samples if you phone them.

Blimey, thats good news. The quality of the carpet and the edge stitching work is good - if it's of any help.
If you are looking at matching edging to an interior colour I'd see if you can get a bit of the colour you want to use. I got the lightest grey they had to edge my mats and I would call it mid rather than light grey.
The only reservation I have to doing the job myself is that you have to undo the rear hood section, which I was told by the guy who fitted my new hood is a real bugger of a job if the captive nuts aren't so captive any more.
If you do go down the Coverdale route will you keep us updated - I might do it myself if you get on ok.

I have purchased a Coverdale carpet set since they have pattern, I have fitted all of the rear carpets with no problem only a small amount of trimming. The rear roof section is a pain, be prepared to swear and swear again. As soon as the weather breaks and warms up I will be doing the front and transmission tunnel, I have been waiting for my new seats to be returned from the trim shop, can't wait to get them in. Can post/email pictures once I know how to.
