need new discs and pasd for the front on my 1995 Chim, any recomdations, priceing and places to get them from ?

They are a standard Ford item, so take the old ones off and take them to any motor factor, they will be able to fit you out. I would say its worth investing in some decient pads though. Mine are red-dot pads and I got them from Tower view, very impressed with them.

Where in the UK are you Chris, I've got a spare set of Black Diamond Predator pads that have only had 150 or so miles put on them.
They're for the 240mm discs so if thats you your welcome to them for the price of the postage (about a fiver max).
Else if you're anywhere near St Neots, Cambs you can come and collect.

Recently fitted Black Diamond discs and pads all round which i bought from this site www.europerformance.co.uk

They are very good and also have Tarox products for the Chimaera

My 94 had 240mm disks up front, got replacements from www.brakes4u.co.uk for less than 20quid each then about 40quid for red stuff pads. You may have the slightly larger disks though, if you can't be bothered to measure them look through the service history as they must have been changed previosly and the part no will probably be on the invoice.
