batt light obviously
Discussion
cleaned car, fixed a few problems..looking good, went for a nice blast - just pulling into park up, batt light on. more than likely it's the big fuse 100amp job. does anyone know where i can get one in london. i work round the oxford circus area. and its another night under the bonnet. at least the light came on - instead of the crazy rev counter.

Vehicle wiring products

They also do a 'midi' fuse which fits the std TVR holder and should prove more reliable than the blade type, I hope so as thats what I'm using

Unfortunately, my spare ones are in the back of the car at Silverstone performance otherwise I would have brought a couple into work for you.
You could try the Maplins on Tottenham Court Rd. Take a pic of one in with you otherwise there tends to be a bit of a language barrier!

The strip fuses here seem to be the ones.
However, I presume that the correct one is the FS100 (Continuous 100A; Fusing 200A) rather than the FS50 (Continuous 50A; Fusing 100A). Is this right?
Absolutely.
When you order them, make sure they hear the letters FS. I ordered mine and was suprised when a pack of 10 fuel filters arrived. The code was FF100. The good news is they sent the FS100's out free of charge and told me to keep the fuel filters!

I can get one from Castles for you and post it on?
That would be great - you're going to the rolling road right so to owe beers??
Just having nightmares at the moment, tax run out on car, couldn’t renew a I could not find insurance form, called for replacement - all fine. Open mail this morning - insurance cancelled effective of 20th. On phone all day with customer service finding out what is going on. This is the second time it's been cancelled!
All sorted now.
And finding one of these fuses is a pain.

My Cerbera sometimes has the battery light flickering could this be a poor connection to this fuse and if so where can it be found?
I imagine its more likely to be the alternatter
Do a quick search for big Fuse it will throw up all sorts of results. These have a habbit of messing about.
E3D thanks again for posting - i'd forgot how much of a pain in the butt it was to replace, a few cut knuckles and swearing i finally got it in. AA now called out for a jump!
edited to add:
anyone else have to 'bend' the 100amp fuse to get it in. seems it was a little long bewtween the contacts. the previous one had also been bent?
