Done 300 miles now on my goodyear F1's, had 255/35/18 fitted all round. Just thought i'd drop a post to say how good the tyres are, The tuscan's handling has inproved 100% compared to the continentals i had on it before.
No more tramlining, and really steady at speed ( 70mph, of course )
Currently running the tyres at 26psi all round which seems to be about right, ( tyre fitter put 34 all round in them )
Hope this helps anyone thinking of getting theses top tyres.

thanx carl

Cheers Carl,

I am running toyo proxe T1-S all round on mine, but will need to change all 4 of them within the next month or so..............

So do you (or anyone else) have any experience of the toyos compared with with the eagle F1's? Micheldever tyres near me sell them both for £130 per corner fitted & balanced, so price and availability is not an issue.

So guys, what shall I go for?

I have Toyo T1-S which have been very good both grip & wear wise, although when looking around a couple of weeks ago they did not seem to be available anymore only the T1-R, so am going for a set of Goodyear F1-GD3's.

I've run on both on a Honda S2000 with 245x35x18, and I preferred the Goodyears, although only marginally.

They seemed to be marginally less twitchy than the Toyos, but then again both are good, particularly in cold/damp conditions.

I did try a set of Bridgestone S02's which were great in the dry, but very twichy in the wet!

I've Toyo's on the Tuscan now, although I' probably swap to Goodyears in April to see what they're like

Running F1's on both cars at the moment. Do not seem to grip as well as the S02PP I had before but still good. Don't know how they compare to the likes of Toyo though.

I have just bought Toyo Proxies 255/35 R18Y for £85 each Including delivery.
Rochford tyres, they had an advert on ebay.

A local garage will charge £20 to fit and balance them too.

Bolted these on yesterday, a brilliant service all done for £190, all I had to do was let them down to the correct pressure, the young lad at the tyre fitters inflated to 30 PSI. Interestingly he had to use 65 PSI to seal these onto the rim, (the part where it goes "bang" onto the rim). I had quotes of £400+ from the well known fitters in my area too. I took my wheels off, and while I was there cleared out the corners of the arch where it meets the chassis, lots of trapped stones, and dried dirt.

255/35 R18 Toyo, feel all nice, and they smell of fresh rubber too
Should I be worried about those sensations?

I know its been soap dodging, so this weekend its going to get a treat.
