Pioneer CD - error 70

Hi guys, only wishing to listen to the cd when i'm cleaning the car, honest , i get error 70 on the display, and no sound. Its a Pioneer, and i suspect that a cd is stuck. The cassette won't unload from the boot mounted stacker, any ideas how i sort this out?. Many thanks DH

This error code happened to mine and when I had to disconnect/reconnect the battery the CD then worked fine again. It is however happening a little more often now and sometimes it just sorts itself out. Unless anyone posts a definitive solution I think a new head unit maybe on the cards soon..

Chris and Alex, many thanks for the help. I needed to disconnect the power to get at the serial/part number, and looked up the error code in the relevant manual from the site you provided. Manual not much help. Error 70 = "electro-mechanical fault", however when i reconnected the power, it was, as you suggested Chris, "sorted". Lets see how long it lasts. DH
