Hmm now lets think, drive my Ultima in France and attend the worlds greatest motor race or not? a tough one but l think yes!!

Last year the club left early thursday morning and camped 9 miles north of the circuit. l too was a bit wary of camping having done the same for umpteen years alongside various parts of the track. The site is quite refreshingly luxurious for camping, unlike the track side sites, so l was not atall dismayed about another year camping. Company was good and most fellow campers were LeMan refugees too. An unexpected benefit was a nine mile blast to the track each day.
lf you camp at the track, the entire race will be spent answering questions about your car and lifting the engine cover for a queue of new friends.

Andy, I would like to go and I too would not be able to leave until the Thursday, as I have previous commitments. My new car will be announced officially tommorrow, and I still have to get it finished (engine and box) and get Ultima club membership, new passport etc.

I am going from Portsmouth on the Friday Morning early, there is a fast (1.5hour) cat at around 7am.
