Who's done over 150mph with the roof down.

Fastest I been is 170mph and that was with roof down!

yup, 150 in my Chim 4.3, roof down.
The wedge is a bit less aerodynamic and I've only got to 140 roof off in that!

You know you're going fast when the time it takes to add 1mph covers 300 yards in a second or so... so getting the best terminal velocity (in public) can be a hold-your-breath type thing. That extra 1mph can seriously reduce your braking distance!!!!

Ooops. May I point out that this is entirely ficticious, and any resemblance bla bla bla.

Well I did around 150mph on my ZX6R and that had Dynojet kit and race can.

I didn't get a proper reading as a glimps down at 145mph whist still accelerating scared C**P out of me. Unfortunatelly I didn't realise I was being followed by a cop bike (soon found out though).

Anyway bikes only count if you didn't have a crash helmet on

No skid lid sod that ! what i got out of my 6r is genuine it has done 24000 miles so is well run in ! all i can say is it goes like sh*t off a shovel and wiped the floor with a fireblade down a twisty road and the only reason a chased and raced the rider is cos he was showing off with his sparky sliders so i thought i would rub his nose in it ! he wasnt a happy chappy

I was rubbing a Fireblades nose in it when I hit my silly speed.

I only wish I could have got some footage of it! The yanks in the camaro though it was very funny!

162mph on the speedo Chim 4.5 Roof off, Autobahn Summers evening.

Ahhh role on the summer. I am lucky to drive at 40mph in London at in the build up towards Xmas...Talk about busy roads, even on a Sunday
