Stupid qustion on batteries

Anyone,

Ok, so the car battery went flat so I bought a new one. However, removed the battery to make sure I got the right size. However, this is the REALLY stupid question :

Q) Which terminal does the red lead go to?

I dont remember and its actually quite embarrasing not knowing...

Not yet but i am sure it will be with us soon thank god,we need a change from our money grabbing blinkered upper Managment.
