Carpets/Door inserts
Discussion
Hi all,
just wondering if anyone here knows of anywhere that will re-carpet the tuscan.....I have dark blue carpets that are fading behind the seats and on the sides of the center console????Has anyone had this done and does anyone have any kind of ideas of cost??? Ideally somewhere close to london would be good! Its really annoying me as I love my car so much!!!
Also does anyone know if the factory still do the door insert upgrade with the extra strip along the top??? My flock has seen better days, my local dealer said that its better to get it done through the local person they use......not sure if he would be able to do this and just re flock it. Any idea for price for both doors???
Thanks,
Mark

AJ Trimming advertise in sprint magazine.
I had my door cards re-trimmed in amblar at the factory a few years ago while in for a service.I don't know the exact price of this as I had a few items attended to at that time.
Might be worth trying through your dealer as geting an exact coulor match can be difficult.

Mark - keen to hear how you get on as considering this myself. I met with AJ Trimming (v nice chap), and he does have experience of Tuscans, but in the end, my specific issue (back shelf leather/material coming off bulkhead) is likely to need a more lasting option than merely regluing
- AJ therefore recommended I potentially approach factory.
- AJ therefore recommended I potentially approach factory. I met Andy (AJ Trimming) a while back, he did a rather good job of remaking a whole Chimaera roof in some special green material. He put larger beading on the removable section to help the rain run off. Very skilled chap, I watched him make some of it. Thumbs up here! My corners in the rear have come appart on my Tuscan too.
