I'm I right to assume that the steering column on a 40 se is from a Mk2 Granada. I'm currently replacing the bulkhead bearing, and want to try and source the plastic triangle that fits within the bearing. It appears to have a Ford stamp on it.

My steering column adjuster was broken on mine, a Granada Scorp was identical. £2 from the graveyard!

Column is the later Granada / Scorpio (Mk3 ?)
The triangle is a 2 part plastic assy and is a Ford part - No 048843 and rubber gromet B45JC.
Got mine from the Factory so TVRCarparts probably have them now.

On my car the plastic triangle runs in a roller bearing which appears to be original fit.

Cheers David,

That sounds like mine. Not sure about the rubber grommet though, where was this fitted?
