windows again

i know window opening problems have been done to death but im still unsure.
first my drivers window and now the passenger window also are playing up.
had a look inside the doors,not really much in there,there is a small PCB on top of the motor,is this the culprit? Or perhaps the unit under the centre console(not looked at it yet)since its both windows?

any thoughts appreciated.

Aparently there is some kind of control unit inside the door which is normally the source of windows gremlins. Sounds like the one you mention.

The usual culprit is the window encoder, that small pcb you mentioned, cheap as chips and easy to change.
