So then surely this info should be posted to Tony Blair, Fax your MP, the head of Essex Police etc.. and ask them all to Justify it. Place it on the local news as well....

Then is that van parked on a verge? Is that not illegal?

In wales (one of them caught me a while back) they park on the dual carrageway parking areas.

Maybe if one owned a high backed van or somthing and was bored one day, maybe it would be a good idea to stop and have a long lunch right in front of them.

What are they going to do? Arrest you for parking in a legal parking bay and having lunch?

For the past 3 nights I have seen something just as bad on the M4 at junction 23a (Magor Services - Wales). The van has been parked on the grass verge of the slip road at the roundabout with 2 cameras and 2 Infrared illuminators on Tripods catching the Motorists as they Enter or Leave Wales.

The van is totally unmarked on the side but the rear has high visibility Chevrons. A clue to the van is the externally mounted spare wheel.

These have all been after 6pm when it is too dark for the motorist to see the outline of a camera and tripod.

I think maybe a spot of "vadalisim" would be in order, like let his tyres down kick the camera over and call him a c**ksuker as you drive off. Maybe creep up behind the fence with a big sign to warn the motorists. I speed every day but I think the average motorist in general makes good judgement on road speed otherwise they would be leaving the road on every bend which just aint the case. The speed limits are unrealistic in most cases, also does not the class of vehical count for anything? Is not a speeding 18 wheeler loaded to 38 tonns more of a hazard than me on my bike? Why does the law treat us the same then?

At least the camera is in what looks like a 30 mph zone. Anyone speeding in built up residential areas deserves to get done IMHO. Most of us probably live in these sort of areas and will probably moan about motorists that speed past our front doors.

Now put this on a motorway or dual carriageway and that is a different matter........

Yup have to agree with that one. As pissed off that I am at being caught doing 36 in a 30 by gatso hiding behind a tree I suppose it was in a built upish area.
