As the topic says really.... I live right in the centre of London s oI'm going to have to travel out of the city for servicing anyhow I assume.

Which way should I venture??? Anyone have any ideas? Please feel free to email me with your inputs if you would rather not post here.

What about Parr, JZ, Weltmeister? Any others?

Thanks,

TH

JZ Machtech each and every time (speak to Dave the workshop foreman, he's excellent) Not cheap, but the communication/feedback was always brilliant.

Tom - I rate these guys on a level with JZM but are a fraction of the price.

ETA - It's where this will be going in a few weeks

Thanks for the rapid response gents.

I had heard that JZM were top notch, but not the cheapest. I'd ont heard of Jaz.. or maybe I was just assuming people were refering to JZM.

Does Jaz have a website.

Thanks

Sleep, sorry I didn't make VW on Sunday would have been good to see your car- but I think I am more of a small get together agent, esp with respect to the tunnel meets. Let me know if you're about in central London one time we could have a mini red rs meet!!

Steve (who owns Jaz) and the guy who owns JZM were partners at Jaz a while back. They split and have fprmed 2 separate companies.

No probs, mini meet sounds like a laugh

houlbt,

Jaz are absolutely top notch...Steve the guy who runs the place is good guy and in my experience they will always do their best for you. A certain chappy who frequents this forum and has developed a taste for orange coloured vehicles uses them and trusts them implicitly which is good enough for me.

Convenient too if in centre of town as just use metropolitan line to get to wembley....they'll pick you up from station if 10 min walk too much effort.

cheers,

ben.

I know Steve at Jaz and he always comes across as a very straight bloke - even helped me xx years ago when I had the misfortune to open the bonnet of a 928S2 for the first time and had to do a pair of head gaskets.

Cheshire is only just outside of London though.....

Hi Tertius - came up to look at your car with Verysideways but he said he couldn't see you.

Hope you don't mind me pinching the photos, think the first one looks great
