Hit squads are to be sent into the 20 NHS trusts with the worst record on tackling the superbug MRSA, the Department of Health has announced.

I don't want to sound naive, but wouldn't topping the cleaners be abit conterproductive?

My bird does this for a living. Basically they rock up, give the cleaners a kick up the arse, sit about monitoring the situation for longer than neccessary while my taxes pay her and her colleagues then move on to another hospital.

I don't think they mean shoot the patients TeamD!

I think the idea is to shoot the patients whov'e got MRSA to stop them spreading it

i was in hospital the other week for an operation and the standard of cleaning was risible, to say that it was a cat lick was being generous, and the nurses rarely cleaned their hands, and got offended when i asked then to use the hand gel that i took in myself (that says something)

unfortunately, in this regard PFI has a lot to answer to.........
