No such thing as a dodgy pint mate, its when you have 7 of them that its dodgy!

Seriously though, hope you're feeling better - VW was a bit quieter than expected

Worst part is, I took the picture, looked at the name on the screen and thought 'I must remember that for when I post the picture' then promptly forgot. Memory like a.... oh, what was it....errrrr........oh yeah, a goldfish.

Thanks dougc - S photos

(shame my posh new mats hadn't arrived yet...)

That 2nd one down was a new owner who will be at the S club meet. Can't remember his name I'm afraid but seems v. friendly. The car is something like Porche Pink - looks far far better than it sounds.

I guess your S2 was the one with a few of stickers in the windscreen - I saw that one, but I didn't see anyone who might have been the owner.

I think that white must be the least photographed colour, probably because you can hardly ever see any decent reflections in the paintwork - I find that it reflects better under low light conditions, e.g. just before sunset. They stand out well on the road though

Missed my Mica Red V8S too!
However, it was two tone - as in road dirt grey below the waist line!!

Just had to get the hose out when I got back to sunny Hampshire.

you would have needed a very large telephoto lens to capture a certain BRG V8S though .
Shame to miss it really as the first VW meet was an S series event and I think it was also the very first PH event too. Back in the days when Ted had an S4 and didn't have the Cerb and Alpina, my how things change . (for the better obviously :hehe)

...and my green S3...but it was so dirty at the front after the drive over that you were probably so disgusted with it you couldn't bring your self to point a lens at it.

Then again I was late after getting lost on the M3 so you may have missed me altogether.
